Betina's Career
Betina Gozo, a Nike Global Trainer since 2013, has been featured on the Nike Training Club App, global campaigns, and serves on the Nike Programming Council as well as the Women’s Health Magazine Advisory Board. She’s known for leading impactful workouts worldwide and inspiring thousands both online and in person. After earning Women’s Health's 2017 “Next Fitness Star” title, Betina created the Woman’s Guide to Strength Training, a 12-week plan designed to empower women in weightlifting. Her expertise has also led her to work with celebrities like Mindy Kaling, Melanie Liburd, and Brittany Mahomes on their training journeys.
A founding trainer of Apple Fitness+, Betina brought her personal pregnancy and postpartum journey to the platform, launching two specialized programs. She later partnered with Tonal as a guest coach, introducing a Functional Prenatal Strength Program during her third pregnancy. Beyond digital platforms, Betina travels extensively to host Women’s Only Strength Training Workshops and Strength Training Camps that connect and empower women globally.
Her most recent book, Women’s Muscle & Strength: Get Lean, Strong & Confident (Human Kinetics, 2024), furthers her mission of helping women build confidence and resilience through strength training.

Philanthropy
Generosity has always been at the core of Betina Gozo’s life, inspired by her mother, a nurse, who encouraged her to volunteer at nursing homes from a young age. At 18, Betina became a live-in caregiver for her friend Annie, who had Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which deepened her advocacy for disability awareness. She partners with the Challenged Athletes Foundation, leading adaptive workouts, and frequently travels to Kenya to organize projects for families and schools supporting children with disabilities. Betina’s philanthropic work reflects her commitment to empowering others.
